25 Sky Textures: Super High-Resolution Free Stock Photos

Sky textures are among the most useful textures for designers. That is why having a collection of sky textures taken under various weather conditions could prove very useful. Sky textures are usually used for 3D renders as well as in print and web designs. For example, you can use high-resolution or panoramic sky textures to model a dome, or, you can combine sky textures with terrain textures to come up with interesting landscapes.

All these photos are high-resolution at 4288 x 2848 pixels in size (Big enough even for large-format printing requirements). These sky textures were taken using a professional digital camera in raw format, processed in Photoshop and saved in uncompressed JPEG format.
