24 Ornate Frames and Borders Brushes for Photoshop
Here are high resolution brushes that you can use as frames for certificates, photos, artworks and other documents. When using these brushes, simply put your image in one layer and stamp any of the brush in the front layer. The frames are mostly ornate and decorative and some are useful for adding vintage or retro look in your designs. You can play with colors while using these brushes. Simply change the color of your brush before stamping it in your layout. You can also change the opacity or play around with blending modes to achieve different effect. I am pretty sure there are more than a hundred ways to use these brushes. Just be very creative with them.
Created in Photoshop CS3, the resolution of each brush is set at around 2500 pixels. Since I created this in CS3, I think these brushes should work with all CS versions of Photoshop. Just let me know if you encounter problems installing this. If you are using an older version of Photoshop or if you are using program other than Photoshop, you can request me to send you the PNG file of these brushes.

These are absolutely gorgeous! I’ve been looking for certificate frames for a long time – yours are the best on the internet! Unfortunately could not use them as I am still stuck in the Photoshop 7 era. Any chance you might have a version for me to use?

Hi there. I love the brushes but they do not worh with my Photoshop Elements.. Any way I can get them as a .abr file?
You can extract the .abr file from the archived (.rar) file that you can download here.

One small problem the PNG .rar file has an error in it unable to download all twenty four certificate borders
Hi Tonio. Try downloading the file using Mozilla Firefox. Mac users using Opera or Safari are experiencing the same problems when downloading from my site.
Please re-compress all 24 PNG files because I have tried with Mozilla Firefox and I am stilling getting an error message when I try to decompress. Certi-border 5 and a few others are reporting with an error.

Thanks Lynda. Try downloading a free Winrar program from this site: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utilities/Compression_and_Zip_File_Utilities/WinRAR_Download.html. You need that to open the RAR file. To install the abr file so you could use the brushes in Photoshop, I have a tutorial on how to install the abr file in Photoshop here: http://bestdesignoptions.com/?p=1406. By the way, most of my brushes only work with Photoshop CS and above versions of Photoshop.

I need to create scholarship award certificates for our band boosters club. In searching for blank certificate templates, I found your site with these certificate brushes. I only have Photoshop Elements. I would appreciate it if you could send the brushes in psd format. I would then be able to design the certificate with our school colors. Thanks in advance.

I tried downloading the brushes and it doesnt come up. it says I need .abr file. I tried extracting the file but still nothing. please help.
