For people like us who live near the Equator, we do not experience the Four Seasons. Instead we only have hot season and hotter seasons. April and May, especially, are the hottest months of the year. Add the effects of global warming and you can just imagine how hot and humid it is out here.

What can be more refreshing than reaching for an icy glass of water on a hot and humid day or simply imagining you’re splashing in a sea of water? Or how about viewing photos of splashing water captured using high speed photography?

I am a fan of high speed photography because of its ability to freeze and capture a millisecond moment that our eye would otherwise not able to see. It thus represents a combination of technical precision and artistic expression.

Below is a collection of high speed photographs of liquid or water . Most of them are water bullets, exploding or splashing water as a result of displacement when something like fruits are thrown into it. I will stop here and just let the pictures speak for themselves.
