Hottest Color Combinations in Magazine Covers

I am a big fan of colourlovers.com. It has been a great source of inspiration for me. In fact, I always go to this site when I’m looking for color palettes and color combinations to use in my design projects. Another thing that I love about colourlovers is its “trends” section where they feature different covers of popular magazines. This way, other designers could keep a pulse on what professional designers are doing with colors. I have been checking out this section but it seems that it has not been updated for quite sometime. The latest issues of magazines posted there was April 2008. Same with the section on web design trends. I hope they will update those sections soon. It’s January 2009!
So, like me, are you also interested to know what color combinations have graced recent magazine covers, especially that we are starting a brand new year? Let’s take a look at the color combinations used by some well-known magazines ( colourlovers style!) in their latest (February 2009) issues. Aside from the primary colors, pastel colors also dominated in terms of the color combinations used by these magazines.
