Sometimes useful to experiment – https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13996 – the Custom Search Engine allows you to see how fragile (and therefore: beatable) the rank of a competing website is by applying ranking scores. Well, see for yourself. Also very useful to create or edit Google Custom Search Engines for integration into websites ..

InterestingI hadn’t never thought the obviously simple ways the big G thinks. The truth of the matter is that it looks at your page abundant times, it takes a metric tonne of work on your part in order to get a page to become intriguing to the spiders. I guess this adds to my knowledge of search engines.

That’s new.I had considered the obviously simple ways Google thinks. The thing is that while it “indexes” your page multiple times, it still takes a ton of due work on your part to get your site to become relevent to the spiders. I guess this adds to my knowledge of SEO!

Ver well compiled list. Knowledge of keywords and tracking of rankings and backlinks is indispensible when doing seo. I would like to add one thing though, it’s not a real plugin, but a toolbar: the Alexa toolbar. It gives you the Alexa rank of a website, and it helps Alexa index their ratings. You can read more about Alexa ranking (and how to increase it) at my blog.
